8 x 10 inches on 140lb watercolor paper
I used the same photo for Daffodil 12 [link] This deviation is bigger. I enjoy how the textures came out in this one. Pthahlo Blue, Hansa Yellow, Permament Rose and Cadnium Yellow are the colors I used. This is the first time I used this palette and I love it! the Phtahlo Blue makes such clear greens and the neutrality of the Hansa Yellow compared to my green balanced Lemon Yellow is outstanding. I will still use Lemon Yellow and Ultramarine blue, but I think I have new favorite colors.  |
