copic marker and inked with brush Series: Eyeshield 21 This was a piece I started last year, but with my art slump, it sat unfinished. A month ago I got back in it and finished it! It was very thereputic, just a nice progression from start to finish. I loved making the composition, it was a blast. And I'm still pretty happy with how I colored it. The artwork from the manga is so energetic and passionate, I adore it. The only thing I would've done differently was to leave the white of the paper around the hero, Eyeshield 21. Instead I used white goauche. |

Hmmm, the white around the hero looks fine to me... hehe, I love the guy with the outstretched arms/hands!
Great job on that collage composition
And..shhh...in the scan, at least, you can't tell whether it's goauche or paper around the hero..it just looks good.
This piece is definitely full of energy, too
Nice coloring in general, and I like the textures on the footballs

In the USA, they tried to show it on Cartoon Network's website. But it didn't catch on.
At least they print the manga in English here, it is great.
