I am so blessed to be a part of this community. I wish I had the time to properly feature and learn more about you all. Though I hope I can give you some insight of some other women artists on dA in appreciation of
International Women's Week. The group that I was able to answers from is wide and varied like dA itself. Some are just starting their professional artistic journeys and other use it as a pursuit of fun happiness and life. All are great way to share art!

What is your current occupation? Student/Graphic Designer
What do you want to do with your art?The plan is for Design to be my FT job and painting to be done more for fun. Painting/Fine Art is much more personal to me so I prefer to keep that casual so I can paint what I want/how I want and not be worried about that being tied to my financial means.
What does being an artist mean to you? Art gives me a way to express myself through images in a way I never could with words. Being an artist means creating art for the love of it.
Has any woman inspired you artistically or personally? Who?Who? My inspiration comes from so many places. My true inspiration comes from my husband who is always supportive and there for me.
Who are some of your favorite dA artists?I have tons of Favs on DA - too many to list. There is some fantastic artwork here on DA.

What is your current occupation? At the moment I'm a full-time mum, part time artist. I have three teenage children who have taken most of my time for the last 19 years but with the youngest about to leave school I'm starting to spend more time on my art which is exciting!
What do you want to do with your art?My aims are simple - to do the best I possibly can, and create beautiful art that makes people happy!
What does being an artist mean to you? That's a tough question! All I know is that art is part of me, without it I would be incomplete.
Has any woman inspired you artistically or personally? Who?Personally, my Grandmother. She was an amazing woman, born in 1905, she lost her true love suddenly to a brain haemorrhage but married a good man when she was in her 30's. She became a business woman, running a haberdashery shop alone for 40 years, only retiring in her mid-seventies. Nana was strong, independent, honest and kind, the best role model a girl could ever have. Artistically - English watercolourist Hazel Soan.
